Business Development Manager - IT Solutions

Sales - London

To sustain our very fast growth, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our UK sales team in our brand new London office. You will be responsible for managing the full sales process of our technical services, managed services, IT solutions, software and training. You will be assigned a defined group of industries on which you will have full ownership and access to all new leads. 

You should be an experienced solutions sales professional with consultative skills. You know how to balance commercial acumen and closing techniques with an honest approach focused on customer value and technical expertise. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out presales activities and demos of our innovative solutions
  • Prepare detailed commercial proposals with the assistance of our local delivery & presales team
  • Look after our existing clients and develop the business with prospects
  • Manage and grow a selection of strategic accounts
  • Work with our marketing team to optimise our campaigns and sales
  • Keep our CRM always up-to-date (contacts, opportunities, activities...)
  • Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure your clients are satisfied


  • A team player, honest, fun, happy to muck in, passionate and highly collaborative
  • 3+ years proven experience in IT solutions sales (software + services)
  • Capable of handling complex technical sales and offer different standard or custom approaches to addressing client needs
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
  • Strong interpersonal skills: communication, negotiation, persuasion, customer service
  • A high level of personal organisation and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products, ALM tools or ITSM tools would be ideal but is not essential
